Equine Careers Workshop

EQUINE CAREER NIGHT When:  Thursday, October 15th   6:30PM to 8:00PM Where:  The Community Room at the Whitman Police Station, 20 Essex Street, Whitman, MA 02382   The Plymouth County Extension 4-H Office invites 4-H'ers from any club and their families to learn more about careers in the equine industry. The night will feature a panel of local equine experts and professionals from different fields and will include:   ·         Horse Chiropractor ·         Equine Retailer & Marketer ·         Registered Judge ·         Vet and/or Vet Tech ·         Barn Manager, Breeder & Trainer   A moderator will interview the panel so you can hear how they choose their profession, how they trained for it and what they do in a typical day.  You'll get the whole scoop from people who know best.  Then you can ask your questions and get the answers you've been looking for.    This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the wide open range of careers with horses.  Light refreshments will be served compliments of the Hot to Trots 4-H Club.  All are welcome but space is limited.  While not required you may want to RSVP to Reva Levin:  reva@chegg.com and please put 4-H Equine Career Night in the subject line please.
