November & December important dates

November

• November 6th - Barn meeting from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
• November 8th - Monthly meeting  at Marshfield Fairgrounds from 6-7:30 p.m.  This is an election meeting.  If you did not receive a copy of the club officers handbook, it can be found at http://www.mass4h.org/images/stories/pdf_ppt_doc/programs/club_officers_handbook.pdf.  
• November 20th - Barn meeting from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
• November 26th - Kiwanas Christmas tree sale. More details to follow.
• Will do a coat drive/ food drive and bottle and can drive for Marshfield Community Christmas.  More details to follow.

December

• December 4th & 5th - Annual Duxbury Christmas tree and bake sale.  More details and shift signups to follow.
• December 13th - Monthly meeting at Marshfield Fairgrounds from 6-7:30 p.m.
• December 18th - Barn meeting from 8:30 to a.m.

As the weather starts to change, be sure to dress warmly for the outdoor barn meetings.

Cancelled - Friday at Farmer's Market

Unfortunately, we have to cancel our afternoon at the Marshfield Farmer's Market.  See you on Saturday at the barn meeting.

Don't forget paperwork is due no later than Oct. 18th.

Soles4Souls service project

Hi Farmtastic 4-Her's,

 

Cat and I would like to have Farmtastic 4-Her's get involved in a great service project. It is an organization called Soles4Souls, and it collects new and gently used shoes for children and adults that do not have any.

If you have any shoes you can donate please bring them to the meeting tomorrow night or the next barn meeting. We will box them and ship them to Soles4Souls. To find out more about this great  organization check out the website www.soles4souls.org

October dates

• Monthly meeting - Monday, Oct. 11th from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
• Barn meeting - Saturday, Oct. 16th from 8:30 - 10 a.m.
• Enrollment paperwork - Due no later than Oct. 18th

Be sure to bring your completed enrollment paperwork and check.  All paperwork and payments must be turned in by Oct. 18th, the club will not accept late enrollments.  If you can't make the meeting, you can mail the paperwork and check to: Susan Peavey, 252 Tea Rock Lane, Marshfield, MA  02050

Just wanted to thank everyone for helping out with the Farmers Market in Marshfield, O'Neil Farm Day and Audubon Day in Marshfield! If any one has a copy of the article from the Duxbury Clipper please bring it to the meeting on Monday.  Also if there are any pictures from any of the fairs that any one has please bring those too.  If we submit to newspaper article/photograph to 4H our club will earn money.
