Hello Everyone,
>
> It may seem too early to think about the Fair.   But really......  Is it
> ever too early.  The Fair is the highlight of the summer for 4-H.  I have
> been talking with one of the Marshfield Fair Directors, Priscilla
> McGilvary about how ALL 4-H kids can participate;  Please read on.......

> Enter the Marshfield Fair!
> Win Prize money!
> Get your club noticed!
>
> Any person or non-profit group can enter the Marshfield Fair and compete

> Sewing, knitting, woodworking, any kind of handiwork... Gardeners, bring
> your flowers and vegetables, fruits and plants to the fair for contests!
> Clubs, bring a display (like the window displays that you already know how
> to do for 4H) and set it up in the Grandstands, or enter a contest on
> Agriculture (tell a story of how you or your club work in an ag setting,
> or describe what your favorite farm does) Is Conservation your subject???
> bring a large display to the Horticulture section, basement of
> Agricultural Hall, and enter there! Prizes include Ribbons for every
> display, and cash prizes run from $1 to $150! Go to www.marshfieldfair.org
> to read all the rules. Entry for almost all contests is Thursday before
> the fair, although the static exhibits like handiwork are the entire

>
> The Fair is a very exciting time of year for us so please start planning
> an exhibit for the fair so you too can get involved. I encourage you to
> take Priscilla up on her offer for a behind the scenes tour and you can
> ask her anything you need to know about exhibiting at the fair beyond the
