May Dates & Deadlines

• May 10 - Monthly meeting 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
• May 14 - 4H walk 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (Form attached)
• May 15 - Clipping at Pellitier barn in Swansea. We will depart at 7:30 a.m. from fairgrounds. We will be home around 6:00 p.m. Please let us know by Tuesday if you will attending this event so we can coordinate transportation.
• May 23 - Sheep and Alpaca shearing at Peavey's house 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. If anyone has any animals that need to be shorn, please let Mrs. Peavey know and we can add them to the list.
• May 31 - Last day to get Red Sox tickets.
• June 1 - Paperwork is now available online for Marshfield Fair at http://www.marshfieldfair.org/. Please print out and bring your completed paperwork to the next monthly or barn meeting. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Other Notes

The Plymouth County 4-H May 2010 Newsletter is attached.

Also attached is the Plymouth County 4-H Walk information. The 4-H Walk will be held on Friday, May 14th. This is a free event for 4-H'ers and their families. Please RSVP to the Plymouth County Extension Office by Friday May 7th to make sure you are included in the Picnic Dinner.

The 2010 Marshfield Fair Exhibitor Handbook is now available online at http://www.marshfieldfair.org/. Please make sure to read about the Marshfield Fair in this 4-H newsletter as there are some changes and new 4-H shows this year.

Lease papers, barn meeting and Red Sox tickets

• Lease papers are due no later than Saturday, May 1st.  The forms are on the blog or will be available at the barn meeting.
• Barn meeting on Saturday, May 1st from 8:30 to 10
• Red Sox tickets can still be purchased.  See Mrs. Peavey to purchase yours

Farmtastic 4Her's Red Sox Game ~ August 3rd

Join us for a Red Sox vs. Cleveland Indians game on Tuesday, August 3rd at 7:10 p.m. 

 

I have purchased 48 tickets (I need 4) to this game.  

 

Tickets are first come first serve. 

 

Tickets are $60.00 per person.  

 

Seat location is Section 30, Rows 14-16

 

Payment for all tickets by May 15th.  Cash or check.  Make checks payable to Susan Peavey.

 

We can all wear our 4H shirts or we can have some made up just for the game!

Lease papers due no later than May 1st

Below are the lease papers that need to be printed, completed and turned in no later than May 1st. Only the first two pages need to be turned in. The last few pages are all the rules and such that should be read, but don't need to be turned in. Please keep a copy in your 4H notebook.

You can turn the papers in on the following days:

April 17th - Barn meeting 8:30am -10:00am
April 19th - Marshfield Fairgrounds -
Clean up of mangers 9:00am - 12:00pm.
May 1st - Barn meeting 8:30am - 10:00am
