FW: 4-H SET Camp- Deadline

Hi Farmtastic 4-Hers,

Please see the information below about a great summer camp.

========================================

4-H Leaders,

The deadline is fast approching for the Massachusetts 4-H Summer of Science Camp (SET Camp).  This program will be held June 27-29 at UMass Amherest.  Highlights of the camp include a tour of the UMass Hadley Farm with various livestock animals, learning how to make and launch bottle rockets, a visit to the UMass Cold Spring Orchard to learn about apples trees and production as well as visits to UMass Labs to look at bees under microscopes and much more!

The cost of the camp is $150, scholarships are available, please contact me for more information.  Fee also includes a Mass 4-H Camp t-shirt and all other expenses are covered in this fee.  4-H'ers must be between the ages of 12-16 to participate as this is an overnight camp

Registrations must be in by tomorrow, MAY 21, please email me asap if you are interested, there is a possibilty to extend the registration period.  The brochure is attached with more detailed information.  Again please email me directly if you are interested or planning on attending so I can get a number for all of Plymouth County.

This camp is a great opportunity to explore new areas of science and experience the UMass campus and get a taste of the college experience.

Please forward this on to your members who might be interested.

Thanks,

Molly Vollmer
